Emergency First Aid at Work Course – 1 day

This Emergency First Aid at Work Course will be delivered face to face at our wellingborough office. This course meets the minimum requirement for first aiders  within small workplaces, the course outcomes meet the HSE requirements and standards.

Topics include:

• The role of the first aider
• Managing an emergency
• Communication and casualty care
• Burns
• Choking (adult)
• Fainting
• Health and safety (first aid) regulations
• Resuscitation (adult CPR)
• Seizures (adult)
• Shock
• Unconscious casualty

Candidates will be awarded a certificate of completion after the course, and meeting all ongoing observations/assessments, there are no formal exams or assessments in this course.

We will issue an E-certificate to your email provided, this is to support reduced paper and greener environment initiatives, if you would prefer a printed certificate this can be arranged.

All candidates will be expected to complete and return a COVID-19 Health questionnaire before the course start date, COVID rapid antigen testing may be carried out on day one if required.
