This course is designed for people who want to receive training in emergency first aid and is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments.

The content of this course provides basic life saving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations, covering the following:
The role of the first aider
- Managing an emergency
- Communication and casualty care
- Burns
- Choking (adult)
- Fainting
- Health and safety (first aid) regulations
- Resuscitation (adult CPR)
- Seizures (adult)
- Shock
- Unconscious casualty
Course duration
One day. We are happy to run the course over two evenings or on a weekend day to suit your needs. Further if you have a group of 5 or more we are happy to send an instructor out to you. For groups of up to 12 the discounts are very competitive.
Assessment
Continuous observation by the trainer.
Certification
Successful candidates will receive a certificate which is valid for three years.
